Teddy is Jeffrey’s energetic corgi. Jeffrey and Rory are going to bring him to a corgi gathering in Long Beach 2 days before Halloween. That’s why they asked me to make a cute costume for him.
Since a lot of people play “Pokemon Go”, I thought a cute Pikachu would be a good choice.
He can wear the Pikachu Hat and run around on the beautiful sunny beach. Can you imagine what that picture looks like? It’s going to cheer everybody up!
I hope he will like it! Cross my fingers ⋯
Jeffrey 有一隻精力非常旺盛的柯基犬，Teddy。Jeffrey和 Rory 將帶著牠去参加於萬盛節前两天在長灘舉行的柯基犬大聚會。他們問我可不可以為Teddy做一件可愛的萬盛節裝扮呢？
我想著，現在時下最熱門的就是玩“寶可夢” ，何不做一隻皮卡丘呢？該是不錯的選擇！
讓Teddy戴著皮卡丘（帽）奔跑在陽光燦爛美麗的海岸，會是何等的光景啊！該讓人們非常興奮吧！
我希望Teddy會喜歡！祈禱著⋯
Here comes Teddy …
On October 29th, costumed corgis gathered from all of socal to celebrate the spirit of Halloween. Jeffrey and Rory took energetic little teddy to his first gathering. Hmm, it looks like he doesn’t like Pikachu. Jeffrey suggested we take him around the beach and said “just wait till he’s tired, then he won’t fight Pikachu off.” After teddy was all tuckered out, we quickly tied Pikachu to his back. He’s finally wearing It.
In this case, the costume didn’t please the client. But the owner always knows his dog. And suggested for his next, a body type costume. We’ll see how he likes his next costume.
10/29，在晴朗的長灘海岸上，聚集了穿萬盛節裝扮的柯基犬們。Jeffrey & Rory 帶著好動的Teddy 第一次到此參加大會。
哎！Teddy 看起來好像不太喜歡Pikachu 待在牠的頭上耶！Jeffrey建議先帶牠在沙灘上多繞圈子，並說：「等牠累了就沒力氣再排斥皮卡丘了…」
好方法!真的等牠累了，才有機會把皮卡丘穿在身上啊！
從這個例子看來，這件裝扮並沒有讓“顧客”滿意！還好主人懂得自己的寵物，才有機會讓皮卡丘入鏡。有了這次經驗，知道只要不碰到牠的頭，穿身上的裝扮是OK的。我期待下次的作品Teddy會喜歡！
記取教訓啊！
Idealisticly, the costume would have sat snug on his head. Realistically, Pikachu was firmly tied around his body.
原創意是皮卡丘可以戴在牠頭上，兩耳露出。
但實際上卻是只能在牠身上待着！
